I felt like absolute shit today so I slept through court (8am) and photography (noon). I was unusually exhausted compared to normal, didn't eat and then I felt the case of womanhood. Nice day.

I often wish I could just get a hysterectomy and get rid of my boobs, but I've already come to terms that will never happen. I also developed feelings for someone but I'm way too fucking proud to admit it.

Why didn't I get off my fat ass and watch Castle in the Sky sooner? She is like my new favourite female character in all the Ghibli movies.

Grave of the Fireflies was tragic, but not a tear was shed because... maybe I was too overhyped on the YOU WILL CRY RIVERS FROM RIVERS OF RIVERS hype.

The Cat Returns is my new favourite Ghibli movie. It's so simple and cute! Even though I liked Nausicaa and Castle in the Sky a lot too, there was just something about this movie that just appealed to me. Was it Muta? Was it all the cats? Probably the cats. :D

Nausicaa... dang, while I totally loved the atmosphere, storyline and seriousness of it all, I really hate characters that have a DO NO WRONG vibe to them, and Nausicaa certainly fell into that category. I also really hated the voice acting, but what can you do... it was the 80s.

Kiki's Delivery Service is next! Then Whisper of the Heart and maybe Ocean Waves. I have a lot of Ghibli to go through.
